Jinja City – The meeting, hosted at the LCU Office in Jinja, was attended by the Bishop of the Lutheran Church of Uganda Charles I Bameka, the Residents District Commissioner (RDC) Buyende District Mr. Kulaba David Isabirye, and the Mayor of Jinja City Mr. Alton Kasolo, marking a pivotal moment in fostering cooperation and understanding among different branches of governance and religious leadership, held at the serene and welcoming environment of the Lutheran Church of Uganda’s offices in Jinja.

The meeting, addressed issue relating to HH4U Ministry and operations in the City, Acquiring land for the construction of a permanent LCU offices in Jinja and empowering urban ministry in the Cityand nationally. The mayor commended the LCU partnership with the Government.

As the meeting concluded, The Lutheran Church of Uganda expressed its commitment to continue fostering partnerships with the government and other faith-based organizations to create a more equitable and prosperous society for all.
