Jinja, Uganda – Representatives from the Rafiki Foundation Uganda visited the offices of the Lutheran Church of Uganda (LCU),13th May 2024, to solidify the ongoing partnership and explore new avenues of collaboration.
The team also sought to sign a Cooperation Agreement with the LCU, further strengthening the ties between the two institutions.
The Rafiki delegation, led by Mr. David Graves, the Organizations Uganda Administrator, and Mr. Paul Okoth, the Outreach Coordinator, met with Bishop Charles I. Bameka, the National Presiding Bishop of the LCU, and presented him with a special gift of ‘The Reformation Study Bible.
At the heart of the discussions, was the continued implementation of Rafiki’s Classical Christian Education Curriculum within the LCU’s network of schools. The Rafiki team took the opportunity to gather feedback on the progress and impact of this program, which has been adopted by 9 LCU institutions and finalized plans to follow-up visits to the LCU schools, where they will assess the current implementation.
