Bugiri, Uganda – In a joyous celebration of love and commitment, the Lutheran Church of Uganda (LCU) witnessed the wedding ceremony of Rev William Waiswa and Christine Kusemererwa who tied the knot at the Nakavule Lutheran Church in Bugiri District, Eastern Deanery.
Amidst the picturesque surroundings of Nakavule Lutheran Church, provided the perfect backdrop for the union of Rev William and his beloved bride, the couple exchanged vows in the presence of the Clergy led by the LCU National Presiding Bishop Charles I Bameka. Others were Rev Peter Maganda the Dean of Eastern Deanery, Rev Benard Mwesigwa, Rev Akuwa James, Rev Anthony Otesa, Rev Galimu Robert, and others.
Following the ceremony, a joyful reception was held at the Church Gardens, where guests celebrated the newlyweds with music, dancing, and delicious food. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and happiness as family and friends came together to toast to the couple’s lifelong journey of love.
