The Church usually holds annual education conference in the month of January for all her schools funded by development partners.
However, due to the early opening of schools this year, the conference was deferred to 16th – 18th June 2022.
In a bid to acclimatize to the developments in the education sector countrywide, the Church with technical support from Jinja City and District education office dedicated the function to sensitizing and equipping staff on implementation of the new curriculum.
Thereafter education conference benefited over 80 teachers from 9 schools nationwide, they were inducted and trained on how to implement the abridged curriculum.
This conference intended to change the attitude of teachers while attending to learners’ who were coming from Covid 19 lockdown whereby most learners’ morals had degenerated and needed much attention of teachers to gap the time lost as they focus on critical concepts and competencies to ensure learner progression.
