A total of 84 participants attended a 3day Lay Lutheran Renewals Conference, held at Holly Trinity Lutheran Church, Ibanda Municipality, Ibanda District.
The Conference was attended by Men, Women and Youth who came from 28 congregations spread across south Western Deanery.
The came from Isingiro District where a number of refugues from Nakivale settlement Camp joined, Kasese, Kitagwenda, Kiruhura, Ibanda, Kazo, Mbarara and Buhweju district.
In Kitagwenda a special group of congregants also came from Rwamwanza settlement camp a refugee camp.
The Lay Lutheran Renewal was facilitated by Mr Bill Oehlschlager where Rev Raymond Kaija, Rev Peter Maganda and others were present.
Others were Mr Magezi Fred the National Head of Laity, Rev Olishaba Obed and Rev Moses Ahimbisibwe in charge of Logistics.
After the conference Mr Bill Oehlschlager was awarded with a Certificate of appreciation for the good service rendered.
