The Lutheran Church of Uganda has awarded certificates to over 28 pastors, leaders, Clergy men and layleaders who completed the Pastoral Leadership Institute International (PLII) conference that was held for over five days at Ngetta Lutheran Church, Lira.

The conference was aimed at equipping pastors and church leaders with knowledge and skills to effectively lead and manage their congregations. It covered various topics including leadership development, conflict resolution, spiritual growth, and community outreach.

The certificates were awarded to the pastors in a colorful ceremony that was attended by senior officials from the Church presided over by the Nationa Presiding Bishop, Charles Bameka, Mr Magezi Fred the national Head of laity, Rev James Odoo, Rev Raymond Kaija, Monica Kaija and Eve Bameka

Addressing the delegates, the Bishop of the Lutheran Church of Uganda, Rev. Charles Bameka, commended them for their commitment and dedication to completing the course.

The awards ceremony marked the end of the Northern Deanery PLII conference, this year, which received positive feedback from participants.
