Lutheran Church of Uganda through its Partners of Hearts and Hope for Uganda (HH4U) distributed 10 goats to the Church community in Ishongororo, Ibanda District, South-western deanery.
The objectives were to enhance the economic status of the People of the church Community in this deanery through creating a sustainable goat farm that relate to the strategic goals of the church.
The livestock distribution activity was initiated by the Church, its funding partner and Ishongororo Church Community late December 2023.
All the beneficiaries received a female goat as the church look forward to enhance socio-economic development, sustainable livelihoods, and poverty alleviation while promoting community cohesion.
