The Bubago/Busige community, Kisozi Sub-County, Kamuli District gathered in celebration as the newly constructed School was dedicated. The school was built through the local Lutheran Church with funding from Connect to Uganda, a partner organization with the Lutheran Church of Uganda based in the USA.

The dedication event was led by the National Presiding Bishop, Rev. Charles I Bameka, who presided over a the dedication worship service along with the Executive Director of Connect to Uganda Madam Julie Stroder, who led a Mission team of 6 members from USA to Uganda. The Dean Eastern Deanery of the LCU Rev. Peter Maganda led the worship service which was attended by over 10 pastors from the Deanery.

The event included the Graduation of 58 Women of Far Way Friends who aquiring skills from various training including; Tailoring, Beads making, Poultry keeping and Craft making. 10 of the women were given sewing machines to help them start their own businesses and become financially independent.

The dedication ceremony was attended by Headteachers and Teachers from other Lutheran Schools and Students, LCU staff, Connect to Uganda Mission team, community members and local leaders.

The Executive director Connect to Uganda, Madam Julie Strooder extended her enthusiasm for the overwhelming joy of the community development by them and the Church and later urged the community to keep themselves in christ. She promised more support to the Church for community development.
