At least 500 worshippers attended the dedication Worship Service, for the Amudat Town Lutheran Congregation, presided over by Bishop Charles I. Bameka, the National Presiding Bishop of the Lutheran Church of Uganda (LCU).

Construction of the Sanctuary started over 5 years ago with the congregants, especially the Women, collecting the site construction materials stones, Sand, Aggregate stones and construction rocks.

The LCU community Nationally privided the needed Cement, Bricks, Timber, Iron-bars and tools which saw off the beginning of construction in 2020. By the end of 2022, the Sanctuary had been constructed to ring-beam level. With support from ‘Life for Uganda’ and Ressurection Lutheran Church, Cary, NC, USA, the sanctury was built beyond the ringbeam level including roofing, plastering, installation of ventilatirs, windows and doors, as well as finishings of verander construction and painting.

The entire leadership of the North Eastern Deneary attended the Dedication Service and expressed satisfaction with the tripartine relation in completing the construction.
