During a Worship service Presided over by the LCU National Presiding Bishop Rev Charles Bameka, 6 women of the FAF Tailoring Group graduated and were awarded Certuficates by the Executive Directir Connect to Uganda (C2U), a partner organisation with LCU.
9 women went through the Tailoring training and acquired the necessary Skills and were given Bibles for thier continued Spiritual growth and a sewing Machines for their individual self sustainability.
At the same Sunday service, held at Bubago Lutheran Church, Kamuli District, also saw the Dedication of the Women Poultry House, which will help grow the skills of the FAF Poultry Women’s Group building towards self sustainerbility.
The day also saw the congregation gathered and prayed for the ongoing construction of Bubago Lutheran Nursary and Primary School.
Usual activities like cutting the cake, Speeches from local leaders, Politicians, and the guest of honor who was the RDC Buyende district Mr David Kulaba Isabirye, were held. Women also gifted the Mission team and the Bishop wiith some items as a sign of appriciation.
