Atleast 74 Teachers of Lutheran Church Schools in Uganda attended the annual teachers’ workshop held in Jinja at the Jinja City Hotel.
The Facilitators of this workshop were sent by the Ministry of Education and some of the LCU staff in the education department.
The Teachers were sponsored by two organisation Hearts and Hope and Connect to Uganda to enable the smooth learning of the teachers.
The Workshop is among the refresher retreats by the LCU to enable the updated and current teaching techniques to equip Teachers in the new Era of technology.
The Inspector of Schools in Jinja Mr Kisambira Eria was the Chief guest and officiated the giving of the Appriciation gifts to the excelled Teachers.
