Butogonha Lutheran Church is located in Butogonha Village Namwendwa Sub-County in Kamuli district. The school is the number 8th among the LCU/HH4U funded schools. The school officially opened this year closing with term one with over 200 pupils.
Early this 2022 the Lutheran Church of Uganda and Hearts and Hope for Uganda agreed on the strategy to develop and construct dormitories as a way to aim the self-sustainability of the schools. Butogonha Lutheran Nursery and Primary school is among the first beneficiary of the idea.
The School which started on 3 and Half acres early 2021 is now standing on approximately 7acres with 4 acres acquired late June.
The recently purchased land will be used to construct Girls Dormitory with improved latrine and bathroom.
